Dr Mininim Oseji

Dr. Mininim Oseji is currently the National President of the Medical Women's Association of Nigeria (MWAN), the Permanent Secretary of the Delta State Ministry of Health, Asaba as well as the Executive Director of Public Health Impact Research Centre (a research based NGO she founded in 2002).

She is a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (Public Health) since 2001, Fellow of the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene since 2002 and Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (Community Health) since 2003.


Her research interests include COVID-19,  Maternal and Child Health, Cancer, HIV/AIDS, Gender-Bases Violence, Health Systems Management, and Women and Youth Empowerment.

Her research and consultancy experiences include: Principal Investigator for the UNFPA 5th Country Programme For Nigeria, Baseline Survey; Health Expert/Resource Person for National Maritime Administration and Safety Agency [NAMASA] sponsored Programme on HIV/AIDS Awareness, Advocacy, Care/Support and Reduction of Stigmatisation and Discrimination against PLWHAs In Delta State; Delta State Coordinator of the Demonstration Community Linkage Project for the Reduction of  Maternal and Neonatal Mortality in Oko-Anala Community, sponsored By West African Health Organisation/Delta State Ministry of Health; Supervisor for the Health Facility Survey for Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses, sponsored by Federal Ministry of Health, Abuja and World Health Organisation
