In July 2016 the HLA launched the Leadership Enhancement and Accountability for the Public Sector (LEAPS) programme. LEAPS is an 18-month fellowship programme, designed to foster unity of purpose among regional and state level public-sector healthcare leaders and equip them with the tools required to achieve bold primary health care development goals.
